Martha M. Molony's Obituary
Martha M. Molony was born on December 10, 1914 in Portland, OR. to Antone & Cecilia Lenvinowicz Urban.
She died at her home in Scappoose on March 15, 2006 at the age of 91.
She received a bachelors degree in Nursing from OHSU and was a nurse in nursing homes and her last nursing position was with the St. Helens hospital, retiring in 1980.
She has lived in Scappoose for 90 of her 91 years. She married George in 1939, he preceded her in death in 1984. She then married John Keller in 1993 and he also preceded her in death.
She grew up in the Catholic denomination. She was a member of the Senior citizens center, she volunteered her self for the ill. She supported the A.R.C. organization. She enjoyed hiking, identifying native plants and experimented with eatible plants.
Survivors include: 3 children Dan Molony of Rainier, OR.; Dave Molony of Scappoose, OR.; Rosemary Lohrke of Scappoose; Companion: Henry Mattos of Roseburg, OR.; Sister: Franciene Urban of Scappoose; 4 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild.
Memorial Mass: Monday, March 20, 2006 at 11:00 AM at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church-Scappoose, OR.
Private interment: St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery.
