Marty I. Brady's Obituary
Margery “Marty” Brady of Warren died July 16, 2013, at her home. She was 83.
Marty was born January 22, 1930, to Gotlieb and Lena Salzman in Palouse, Washington.
She graduated from Jenkins High School in Chewelah, Washington.
From 1952 to 1975 she was married to Tony Jenkins.
Two years later in 1977 she wed Les Brady. He preceded her in death in 2008.
Employed at numerous places throughout her life, she worked at Tektronics, Steinfelds, Brandenfelds, Scappoose Sand & Gravel, and Means Nursery.
A member of Grace Lutheran Church and Bethany Lutheran Church, she was also a Sunday School teacher, a Brownie leader, a 4-H leader and 4-H camp cook and a member of the Good Sam Travel Club.
Additionally she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, quilting and sewing, and was part of the Bethany Lutheran Quilt Club.
She is survived by her sons, Steve Jenkins and Andy Jenkins, both of Union, Jeff Jenkins and his wife Carolyn of Warren, Sam Salzman and his wife Connie of Vancouver and Mark Salzman of Sacramento, California; daughters, Chris Mollenhour and her husband Scott of Scappoose, Shelly Salzman of St. Helens, Claudia Ryan and her husband Steven of Delaware, Wendy Coleman of Zigzag, Tanya Miller and her husband Matt of Illinois, and Kelly Pelcin and her husband Mike of New York; 21 grandchildren and lots of great grandchildren; brothers Robert Salzman and his wife Alice of Alaska, and Donald Salzman and his wife Candi of Washington; and eight Brady step children and their spouses and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Les in 2008; brother, George; and grandchildren, Ryan and Nicole.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, July 20 at her home.
