Marvin Rex Rigby's Obituary
Marvin ''Rex'' Rigby was born on July 4, 1926 in Waldo, KS. to Joseph & Thelma OverholserRigby.
He died at a Portland hospital on November 6, 2004 at the age of 78.
He was educated in Kansas and Cottage Grove, OR.
He moved to Oregon during the dust bowl. Has been in the Warren, OR. area since 1946.
He married Wanda in St. Helens in 1947.
He was in the Navy from 43-47.
His first job was a barber in St. Johns area, then Lakeside Paving Co. and St. Helens Paving Co., ret. in 1988. He also was in construction for a period of time in Las Vegas, NV.
He enjoyed old cars: Having a '65 Mustang, Edsel, Corvair, and a Studebaker.
Survivors include: Wanda Rigby of Warren, OR.; Children: Sherry Weber of Vancouver, WA.; Rex Rigby of Siletz, OR.; 2 nieces: Cindy Gritton and Rayette McHale both of Las Vegas, NV.; numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Memorial service: Pending.
