In 1997 I walked into a small real estate office in Scappoose looking for property to build a house on, and there sat Jayne Bovee, mirror in one hand, lipstick in the other. "How can I help you?" I'm looking for property, "how long?" about a year or so. Jayne: "So is every swinging 'so and so" walking through that door, it's tough, why should I help you?. Me: You name a street and listing and I'll tell you the color of the mailbox. Jayne, ...E.J. Smith road. Me, What? never heard of it. 90 days later she put together a private contract with a pocket listing she had and I'm still here. She was one in a bazillion. My mom, dad ,wife, dogs and I all loved that woman. Jayne we miss you.

Jayne was one of my mother’s dearest friends. My mother passed in 2023. Jayne and I had several phone calls this past year sharing so many memories sad and happy about their friendship. I texted J several times a week and always kept her updated on what was going on with our family. J loved all the stories and all the details. I felt as if I still had a piece of my mother. I will definitely be missing all the interaction I had with her. I know she is in a better place and probably sitting with my mother now sharing all the latest stories. Jayne was a truly special and remarkable lady. Rest in peace my dear friend. 🙏🕯️️Carrie
My condolences to Jayne's family. May she rest In peace.🩷🙏 Michele Tunstall
My name is Phil Connon from Burien WA and Jayne was my cousin as both our moms were sisters raised by parents who were immigrants from Trondheim Norway. Jayne was always fun to talk to whether it be by phone or email. She found life and people rather interesting and funny. She was such a good artist in paintings. I am glad to have known her.
What a wonderful lady!, the lady of many names and a wonderful sense of humor! Keep them laughing and rest in peace! Greg Tunstall

I have so many happy memories of Jayne. I used to spend hours on the phone talking to her after I moved to Salem. I met Jayne when I was working at Fred Meyer in Scappoose. Your memory will always live in my heart.
Love, Carole❤️❤️
