Mary Kathleen Dugan's Obituary
Mary Kathleen Dugan died peacefully at home on Friday, March 6, 2009. Mary was born to Ivan and Helen Olson on April 23, 1940 in Ashland.
She graduated from Talent High School in 1958. She married Pat Dugan 36 years ago on July 15, 1972 in Ashland.
Mary and Pat raised their two children in Central Point, where she was an active volunteer with the local school district and little league. They laer moved to Columbia City.
Mary is survived by her husband, Pat;daughter, Frances Knitz and her husband, Mark of Germany; son, Dennis and his wife, Suzanne of Portland; grandchildren, Emelie and Ethan Knitz and Olivia Dugan;brother, Michael Olson of Hawaii;sisters, Teresa Hirte of Tualatin and Trientje Mullins of Los Molinos, Calif;nieces, nephews and cousins. Mary was preceded in death by her older brother, Richard. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. in St. Frederic Church, 175 South 13th St., St. Helens, OR 97051. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that donations be made in Mary's memory to St. Frederic Church or the University of Portland, 5000 N. Willamette Blvd., Portland, OR 97203-5798.
