I met Katie through her good friend, Brenda Reynolds. I really enjoyed the few times Katie, BG and I would get visit with each other during Oysterfest, and when Katie would come up for a summer visit.
I found Katie to be one of the most beautiful souls a person could hope to meet along the path of life. She will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her.
My most sincere sympathy goes out to her family from mine...##imported-begin##Sharon Prather##imported-end##
Katie, Katie, Katie...
Sure gonna miss you....
So many memories....of so many happy times....
The mustard-colored van....
The 'always ready with a quip' style that always brought joy and laughter from those around you....
Aye... let us pray, go forward and be glad for thee...
Thanks for the memories....##imported-begin##Juan DeFuca##imported-end##
I miss you Katie, I played the monkey slot machine for you but only
you seemed to win at them! I'll miss
the Saturday Market without you but
I'll have my crazy eyes to always
remember you. We had so much fun in
Port Townsend and Scappoose. My best
wishes to Beau and Erica.
Love always,

I met Katie in 1983 and she has been my very best friend ever since. I will sorely miss her. We always joked that we could have a great time just watching cement dry...which we did on one occasion. Katie and I shared many adventures and supreme sadness when our girlfriend Carolyn died some years back..we three were a "team" in more ways than one. Now Katie has gone to join Carolyn and they have left me here to carry on. But I look forward to the time that I will join them in the Realm of Infinite Possibilites and we will have many more adventures. I love you Katie and I am missing you so.##imported-begin##Brenda Reynolds##imported-end##

When I first met Katie a few years ago, we hit it off instantly. I could tell she was a true free spirit and that she knew what living was all about. I am truly honored to have met and connected with Katie. I was very saddened by the news of her death but somehow just know that she is still having a blast wherever she ended up in the next life. Katie, you were one of a kind. God bless you Girl! Love to you and the family, Nancy##imported-begin##Nancy Blackmon##imported-end##
My prayers are with you SIS. Mom was a sweet lady to me growing up, I still remember her smile. Big Hug!##imported-begin##Todd Grosse##imported-end##
I only knew Katie for a couple of years, but she was one big kick in the pants. Never forget seeing her beloved BB King with her and friends, and her putting the yacky gal sitting behind us in her place. "I came here to hear HIM, not You." Awesome. She told it like it was and never hesitated to speak her mind. Oysterfest will not be the same without you, girl...I still have that photo of you pole-dancing in Brenda's backyard when you, me and Tina did her backyard birthday makeover...promise I won't show it to more than a few dozen people. You have the greatest spirit and the smartest mouth of all time...you will be there whenever we crack an oyster or a good bottle of Merlot.
Love always.##imported-begin##Carolyn Malanowski##imported-end##
