Mary L. Jones was born October 2, 1940 in Dallas, OR. to Claud & Mary ReynoldsWeaver.
She died on February 7, 2005 at a Portland Hospital at the age of 64.
She was educated in Vernonia, graduating in 1958.
Married to Buddy on July 13, 1959 in Farmington, New Mexico. They lived in Utah for a time after marriage until moving to St. Helens in 1960 until present.
She worked at the Chamber of Commerce for a couple of years and the Columbia County Credit Bureau for 19 years, retiring in 2002.
Member of the Columbia Christian Center, she enjoyed crocheting, making cards and pictures on her computer along with her family and grandkids.
Survived by: Mother: Mary Weaver; Husband: Buddy Jones; children: Rick, Brian, Roy, Ron, Randy Jones and Brenda Jalo; Siblings: Tom, Tony, Larry, Dick Weaver, all of St. Helens; Butch Weaver of Clatskanie, OR.; 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
Viewing & Visitation: 9-5 Friday at Columbia Funeral Home
Funeral Service: Sat. 2/12/05 at 1:00 PM at Morning Star Worship Center-Scappoose, OR.
Committal Service & Vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens.
