Mary L. Stevely's Obituary
Mary L. Stevely was born on January 2, 1913 in Clifton Springs, NY to Thomas & Dora Snyder Rolland.
She died at a Longview, WA. hospital on Janaury 23, 2005 at the age of 92.
She attended Geneso Normal School in New York, she met and married Robert Stevely in Waterloo, NY
on September 17, 1943. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2002.
They moved to Warren, OR. in 1955 until present.
She was a homemaker and she was a member of the Plymouth Presbyterian Church, Warren Grange a musician for 50 years; home economics extension service and the AARP. Active with the Columbia Co. Fair and other community organizations.
Survivors include: Sons: David Stevely of Seattle, WA.; Charles Stevely of Portland, OR.; 4 grandchildren: Tricia Stevely of Klamath Falls, OR.; Travis Stevely of Seattle, WA.; Sara & Amy Stevely both of Corvallis, OR.; 1 niece & 4 nephews. Preceded in death by a brother: Charles Rolland and a sister: Alice Williamson.
Celebration of Life: Saturday, January 29, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Plymouth Presbyterian Church-St. Helens, OR.
Private family interment: Masonic Cemetery-St. Helens, OR.
