Mary Leona Lewellen's Obituary
Mary Leona Lewellen was born on September 16, 1916 in Appleton City, Missouri to Roy & Myrtle Mar Sharp.
She died at a St. Helens nursing home on February 20, 2010 at the age of 93.
Mary attended school in Appleton City, Missouri, met and married Orval Lewellen on July 3, 1936 in Twin Falls, Idaho. They moved to Jar Beach, Nevada, Grants Pass, OR.; in 1990 to Lakewood, CA.; and in 2007 to Scappoose to be closer to thier daughter.
She was a homemaker and worked in the canneries in Washington. She was of the Christian denomination and she enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting.
Survivors include: Husband: Orval Lewellen of Scappoose; Daughter & Son-in-law: Kim & Edwardo Lopez also of Scappoose; 2 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
