Mary Lou DeLevante's Obituary
Mary Lou DeLevante was born on October 28, 1936 in Colorado Springs, CO. to Anthony & Margaret Rowe Bordenelli.
She died at a Longview Hospice care center on March 7, 2006 at the age of 69.
She was educated in Colorado Springs, CO. and living most of her life in Alaska. 36 of those years in Soldatna, AK. She also worked in Anchorage AK. as a waitress in the Whitespot Cafe for 30 years, retiring in 1991. She has lived in St. Helens for the past 10 years. She loved Alaska and called it god's pocket.
She grew up in the Catholic denomination. She enjoyed baking, cooking, reading, crocheting, berry picking and early on snowmobiling.
Survivors include: Daughter & son-in-law: Mitze & Jim Chalk of St. Helens; Sons; David DeLevante of St. Helens; Victor DeLevante of Kasilof, Alaska; 5 grandchildren.
Viewing & vistitation: 9-5 Friday
Funeral service: 2:00 PM Saturday
3/11/06 both at Columbia Funeral Home.
Committal service & interment: Yankton Hillcrest Cemetery.
