Maxine Giebelhouse was born on November 14, 1917 in Portland, Oregon to Edward & Betty Cox Parrish.
She died at a Longview, WA. hospice care center on May 10, 2009 at the age of 91.
She lived most of her life in Oregon, married to Roy on July 31, 1937 in Portland, he preceded her in death in 2003.
Maxine worked as the church secretary for Bethlem Lutheran Church in Portland for 9 years, retiring in 1978.
Her interests included, painting, cooking, gardening and her grandchildren.
Survivors include: Daughter: Susan Ferguson of Scappoose; 2 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Private interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose, OR.
