Melvin V. Andre''s Obituary
Melvin V. Andre' was born on March 29, 1938 in Portland, OR. to Earl & Genevieve Rugh Andre.
He died at his home in Grand Ronde, Oregon on May 29, 2006 at the age of 68.
He has lived in Oregon all of his life, moving from Portland to Scappoose and living here for 30 years and most recently to Grand Ronde.
He entered the Air Force in 1955 and received certificates of appreciation.
He was a manager for apartment buildings in Forest Grove for 20 years.
He belonged to California & Nevada Moose Big 5 clubs, the Forest Grove Elks Lodge #2440.
He loved to fish, hunt and camp. His talents were working with animals and farming. Hobbies included leather work and working out of doors.
Survivors include: Children: Jim Andre' of Warren, OR.; Lavone Andre-Saco of Acampo, CA.; Brothers: Elmer of Grand Ronde and Howard of Estacada, OR.; 2 granddaughters & 1 grandson.
Nicheside service and inurnment: Columbia Memorial Gardens; Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at 3:00 PM.
