Mildred E. Barmeier's Obituary
Mildred E. Barmeier was born on July 5, 1908 in Pomeroy, WA. to Charles & Minnie Dickson Bishop.
She died at a St. Helens care center on August 26, 2004 at the age of 96.
She came to Portland in 1920 and Scappoose in '41.
She graduated from Grant Hi school in Portland and attended Business college. She worked at Pop & Talbot and Boise for a number of years as a payroll clerk retiring in 1973.
She married Norman Barmeier on 9/2/1933 in Scappoose, OR., He preceded her in death in 1982.
She was a member of Plymouth Presbyterian Church, St. Helens PEO, AARP, St. Helens Senior center. She enjoyed playing bridge and working in the yard.
Survivors include: Close friends: Elaine & Gordon Hughson and Pat & Richard Hughson.
Memorial Service: Thursday 9/2/04 at 11:00 AM at Plymouth Presbyterian Church.
Private niche inurnment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
