Mildred Dorothy Franklin's Obituary
Mildred Dorothy Franklin of St. Helens died Sunday January 27, 2013. She was 90 years old.
Mildred was born the daughter of Arthur and Mildred (Bisson) Balteau on April 19,1922 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The family moved to Southern California in 1923 when she was a year old. She was a 1941 graduate of Montibello High School. Following high school she worked for Lockheed Aircraft during the early years of WWII. In 1945 she was married to Paul Clarke Franklin in Glendale, California. He preceded her in death in 1988.
She moved to St. Helens, Oregon in 2000 to be closer to her son. She was a Jehovah’s Witness.
She is survived by her son Bill (Joan) Franklin of St. Helens, a daughter Eleanore Diehl of Queen Creek, Arizona. Also by 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held at the Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall . Committal will be held at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California.
