Milton Eugene Gene Phelan's Obituary
Milton Eugene Gene Phelan died October 14, 2006 in St. Helens, Oregon at age 89. Gene was born November 25, 1916 in Silome, Arkansas. He worked at Kaiser Gypsum, Firtex Mill in St. Helens for 35 years. He had lived in Warren, St. Helens area the majority of his life. He married Ethel L. Hauger Young on August 4th, 1945 at St. Frederick Catholic Church in St. Helens. Survivors include his wife: sons, John M., Leonard W., Daniel G., Frederick P., James D., and Joseph B.; daughters, Kathryn A. and Mary P. Lampman; brother J.L. of Seaside; sisters, Aleta Phelan of Canby, Oregon and Norma Gilman of Cloverdale, OR. Also 11 grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and RJ. Memorial Services will be Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home.
