Milton Carl Timmons

Milton Timmons of St. Helens died March 24, 2015 at age 79. He was born October 15, 1935 in St. Helens, Oregon to Riley and Bertha (Smith) Timmons.
Milton grew up and attended school in St. Helens before he joined the United States Navy in 1953. On June 1, 1961 Milton married Mary Freytag in Stevenson, Washington. After Milton was discharged from the service in 1973 he and Mary settled in St. Helens where he worked as maintenance personnel for the Columbia District Hospital until it closed and then worked at Mt. View Motors. In his spare time Milton enjoyed playing cribbage and was a sports fanatic.
He is survived by his wife Mary Timmons, his children; Laurie Rempfer. Everett Timmons, Gail Knotts, and Brian Timmons, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 10:00 am at Columbia Memorial Gardens.
