Myron R. Christensen's Obituary
Myron R. Christensen was born on July 7, 1924 in Kelso, WA. to Herman & Estelle Mead Christensen.
He died at Meadow Park Nursing Home in St. Helens on January 18, 2006 at the age of 81.
He moved to Gaston, OR. as a baby, attended grade school at Pioneer Heights, Hi school at Laurelwood Academy.
He was in the Navy during WWII.
He married Mildred Mary on 1/5/45 in Vancouver, WA. They moved from Hillsboro to Scappoose where they have lived most of their life.
He was a van driver for Colco Public Transportation, retiring in 2001.
He was a member of the St. Helens/Scappoose Seventh-Day Adventist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, walking.
Survivors include: Wife: Mildred Christensen of Scappoose, OR.; 4 children: Frederick Christensen of Pasco, WA.; Michael Christensen of John Day; OR.; Stephen Christensen of Vancouver, WA.; Shawn of Scappoose, OR.; Brother: John Christensen of Walla Walla, WA.; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
Memorial service: March 4, 2006 at 2:30 PM at St.Helens/Scappoose Seventh Day Adventist Church.
