Myrtle A. Barnes' Obituary
Myrtle A. Barnes was born on April 6, 1951 in Riverton, Wyoming to Edgil & Ruth Sapp Barnes.
She died at a hospice care center in Longview, WA. on June 1, 2006 at the age of 55.
She moved to St. Helens with her family at a young age living here all of her life.
She was a custodian for 15 years with the Columbia County Mental Health District, retiring on January 27, 2006.
Her enjoyments included embroidering, drawing pictures, writing poems, walking, shopping and traveling. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in St. Helens.
Survivors include: Sister: Patricia Jean Barnes; Sister-in-law: Diana Barnes; great nieces & nephews who dearly loved her. Preceded in death by brother: Bill in 2005.
Viewing & visitation: 9-5 Tuesday at Columbia Funeral Home
Funeral Service: Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Grace Baptist Church.
Interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
