Nancy E. Triplett's Obituary
Nancy Triplett passed away on Good Friday, April 6th, 2012 in Newberg, Oregon, she was 87 years old.
Nancy was born June 24, 1924 in Scappoose, Oregon, one of six children born to Homer Albert and Rosa Gutzman Taber. Nancy graduated from Scappoose High School and was raised a country girl; her only vocation was a devoted mother.
Nancy only worked outside the home for a couple of times, once during WWII, working in the shipyards in Portland and the other time she spent a summer peeling shrimp in Arcata, California.
Nancy married Billy Dean Triplett on October 26, 1946 and from this union had seven children. Nancy endured many hardships during her life and was always concerned for the welfare of her children and worried whenever they were going through difficult times.
Nancy wanted people to be nice and was distressed when people did bad things; she was generous with the meager amount of money she received, giving to charitable organizations and to those less fortunate, living a simple life having no regard for riches.
She is survived by her children; Daniel Dean Triplett of Wellington, Colorado, Hugh Bradley Triplett of Portland, Oregon, Loren Ray of Oregon, Barbara Jane Alexander of Salt Lake City, Utah, 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Preceded in death by three children; Rita gale, Anita Dale and Robin Byron and three grandchildren.
