Nancy Jean Fockler's Obituary
Nancy Jean Fockler passed away peacefully with her family beside her, on November 7, 2018. Nancy was born to Sydney and Elene Cassady on September 10, 1929 in Reno, Nevada.
Nancy graduated from high school in Seattle, Washington. She then continued her education by earning her associate degree at Portland Community College, then later received her Bachelor’s in Science in Nursing.
Nancy met Robert Fockler and the two fell in love immediately. Their relationship together allowed her to achieve her dreams of traveling. They lived an adventurous life together for 40 years.
Nancy loved spending time at the beach, she collected shells along all the shores she traveled. She also enjoyed playing the piano, working on arts, crafts and spending time with her family.
Nancy is survived by her children; Lauren, John and Jo, her sister; Phyllis Turay and her grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Fockler, and her parents Sydney and Elene Cassady.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 2:00pm at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens.
