Nathanial D. Windsor's Obituary
Nathanial D. Windsor was born on October 16, 1986 in Oregon City, Oregon to Robert & Leslie Lankin Windsor.
Lance Corporal Windsor died in Iraq on March 11, 2007 at the age of 20.
He moved Oregon City to Warren in 1990 to Huntington Beach, CA. in 1993 to Reedsport in 2002 and Newport 2003-2005 where he graduated from High School.
While living in Newport he worked at Safeway and for a short time at Safeway in St. Helens. For 1 month he worked at Composite Unlimited until joining the Marines.
In school he enjoyed sports. He played football, soccer and baseball and all four years he wrestled. He also enjoyed film making. He had been chosen in school to direct a public announcement video on Meth. His goal was to become a video/film director.
Survivors include: Mother & Stepfather: Leslie & David Elliott of Scappoose; Father: Robert Windsor of Gladstone; Brother Lucas Elliott of Scappoose; Maternal Grandparents: Harold & Cathy Lankin of Oregon City, OR.; Paternal Grandmother: Margurite Westafer of Huntington, Indiana. His deceased Grandfather Ralph Westafer was a WWII veteran.
Funeral Service: Sunday, March 18, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens.
