Nellie H. Ovesen's Obituary
Nellie H. Ovesen was born in Klamath Falls, OR. on May 18, 1930 to Anthony & Anna Sprtova Chcka.
She died at a Portland hospital on July 7, 2004 at the age of 74.
She was educated in the Klamath Falls area, married Arthur in Hillsboro, OR. on 4/16/55, they moved to Scappoose in 1959 living here until present. Arthur preceded her in death on 2/5/2002.
She worked at Steinfelds Cannery in Scappoose for 26 years, retiring in '92.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ladies Auxilary of VFW 4362. She also bowled with her husband in a Sunday evening league. She was also a housewife that raised 4 children.
Survived by children: Paul Ovesen, Mary LaBrasseur, Julie Smith; Brother: Frank Cacka; 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren. preceded in death by a daughter: Christine Laney in '99.

Memorial service: Saturday July 17, 2004 at 2:00 PM at Grace Lutheran Church-Scappoose, OR.
Private Family interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, OR.
