Nicolae Jipa's Obituary
Nicolae Jipa was born to parents Ioan Jipa and Elena Jipa in Romania on May 16, 1955. He was the youngest of three children raised on a family farm. He served in the army in Europe and after his tenure in the service worked as a machinist in a specialty fabrication plant.
Nick came to the United States in 1989 where he settled in Scappoose, Oregon and enjoyed a small-town community that reminded him of his homeland. During this time, he worked for a family business as a team lead/supervisor in a commercial building maintenance setting servicing the Portland metropolitan area. He enjoyed being surrounded by family and the many friendships developed throughout the years. His passion for all sports was contagious; his charismatic energy and kind heart will be dearly missed.
Nick is lovingly remembered by his 93-year-old mother Elena, sisters Ica and Lucia, brother-in-law George, nephews and niece Danny, Linda, Jason and extended family.
