Obituary of Norma Brink
Norma Brink passed away at her home where she lived for the last 30 plus years in Rainier on August 31st surrounded by her family's love. She was 80 years old.
Norma Gene was born July 18, 1932 in Walden, Colorado to Ernest Wesley and Margaret Helen Bean Wilbarger one of three daughters. Her early years were lived in Missouri until she was 25 years old when she and her husband came out west to work. Her husband worked on Road Construction. He was killed in a job related accident. On July 5, 1973 Norma married the love of her life, Elmer Lee Brink. They had 42 blissful years together. Norma was the backbone of her family; the door was always open to friends and family. She was an animal lover, wonderful gardener and prolific garage sales participant most every weekend during the season.
Norma is survived by her husband, daughters; Debrah Capron of Boonville, New York, Sherry Shannon of Otis, Oregon and Linda Reichelt of St. Helens, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, sisters; Vicky Vankoten of Hood River, Oregon and Gayle Weisfield of Lyle, WA.
