Norma Jean Jacober's Obituary
Norma Jean Jacober was born on August 12, 1925 in Springfield, Ill. to William & Mary Weyhrich Forbis.
She died at her daughters home in Scappoose on January 12, 2007 at the age of 81.
She attended and graduated from high school in Lincoln, Ill. She moved to Vancouver, WA. in 1942, then married Alfred Jacober on October 30, 1948 also in Vancouver, WA. They moved to Portland and then to Scappoose in 1963 until present. He preceded her in death in 1981.
She was homemaker and active in the Scappoose Senior Center.
Survivors include: 4 children: Pat Aniker of Scappoose; Mary Herrod of Portland; Helen Hardesty of Exeter, CA.; Wayne Jacober of Kaiser, OR.; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by a granddaughter: Audrey Aniker-'75 and a grandson: Dale Hardesty-'95.
Funeral service: Thursday, Janaury 18, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home
Private interment: Willamette National Cemetery-Portland.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Longview Hospice or Scappoose Senior Center.
