Norman Richard Owens' Obituary
A Celebration of Life will be held, 2:00 PM, Saturday, September 24th at Yankton Community Fellowship, 33579 Pittsburg Rd. St. Helens, Oregon.
Norm passed away, September 15th at a local Portland hospital. He was 55 years of age.
Born in Grants Pass, Oregon to William Jennings and Gladys Burke Owens, he was the youngest of 8 children. Raised in Coos Bay, Oregon, Norm moved to St. Helens 13 years ago and has since worked for Dennis Harding Painting all that time as a painter.
Norm enjoyed any kind of fishing and this area of Oregon provided much enjoyment for him. He rode street motorcycles and four wheelers and was an avid garage sale shopper.
Norm is survived by brothers; William Warren Owens and wife Judy of Tenino, Washington, Bobbie Doyle Owens and wife Sybbi of St. Helens. Sisters; Nancy Rebecca Rice of St. Helens, Nadine Owens Goodrich and husband Virgil of North Bend, Oregon and Martha Gayle White of Coquille, Oregon. Special friend; Devona Jones, 8 nephews and 5 nieces along with numerous great-nephews and nieces.
Preceded in death by parents, brothers; Donald Levy Owens and James Brady Owens.
