Olga Elfride Lahr March 10, 1930 ~ March 28, 2017
Olga ‘Oma’ Lahr was lifted from the arms of her loved ones into the arms of Our Lord on March 28, 2017.
Born in Augsburg, Germany on March 10, 1930, to Hans & Maria Krehle, she was a child of WW II. She was the 5th child of 6 children which included Max, Hans, Maria, Luise & Manfred Krehle. She came to the United States in 1951 and married Richard W. Fox & Earl Brown, both whom preceded her in death. On February 9, 1968, she married Master Sergeant Donald Lahr with whom she recently celebrated 49 years of marriage.
As the wife of an Air Force serviceman they traveled to various assignments in the U.S. and Okinawa, Japan.
She is survived by her husband Donald Lahr. Olga was the mother of 4 daughters and one son. She is preceded to Heaven by daughters Susan Burton Shadley, Loretta Ann Fox and son Frank Joseph Lahr. Surviving daughters are Rose Jensen and Terri Knowles. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Jason Burton. Jennifer Higgins, Sara Mills & Joshua Knowles and one great granddaughter, Brianna Rose Higgins.
She is now in a Heavenly home built with Heavenly hands but remains always in our hearts.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 8, 2017 in the chapel of Columbia Funeral Home in St Helens, Oregon.
