Olive M. Hartz's Obituary
Olive M. Hartz was born on August 18, 1921 in Pittsburg, PA. to Tony & Beulah Pipes McKnight.
She died at a St. Helens care center on February 26, 2007 at the age of 85.
She was educated in Pennsylvania and she married Robert in N. Carolina in 1942. He preceded her in death in 1997.
They moved to St. Helens/Scappoose area in 1969 from Cascade, Idaho, living here until present.
She was a telephone operator for 20 years, retiring in 1974.
Her enjoyments included playing piano with her husband in 2 bands, The Ridgerunners and the Golddusters. She also took up oil painting later in life.
Survivors include: Children: Laurie Lofquist and Mary Ann Guess, both of St. Helens; Robert Hartz of Flagstaff, AZ.; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside service & interment; Willamette National Cemetery-Portland, Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 11:00 AM.
