Omar Michael Carroll II's Obituary
Omar Michael “Mike” Carroll II was born August 1, 1938 to Omar M. Carroll and Vera Valoria Carroll in Baker, Oregon. He passed away on April 22, 2025.
He graduated from Judson Baptist College, Married Jeanette L. Haley in 1962, divorced in 1971 and in 1975 then married Ruby I Walter.
In 1960 he joined the US Army, stationed in Winthrop, MA. Left in 1963 at rank of PFC E2 with being on promotion list to become and Specialist E3. He was a MP (Military Police) and a scribe to the chaplain.
He worked for Union Pacific RR, when he retired, he happily drove the elderly to their appointments, drove school bus and even at one time owned Sun Shine Pizza, (in which they spelled not sun, but Son).
Mike is survived by his children Nancy Bennett, Omar Michael Carroll III and Michele Dixon; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
He was proceeded by his eldest daughter Deborah Bridges.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 24h, 2025 at Grace Baptist Church, Warren, Oregon.
