To Tom and all my dear family. I am so sorry that I cannot attend Pam's memorial as I am leaving on a trip soon. Pam along with Aunt Boots' daughter, Bunny, were by far my favorite cousins growing up in the Moses Lake area. Pam was lots of fun and we seemed to have no lack of ideas of how to get in trouble. I have so many wonderful pictures of us from our childhood and great memories. In particular, I remember one time while we were living in Spokane and Pam was visiting. We must have been about 3rd or 4th grade. Uncle Leonard was coming to visit and we decided to make special pancakes for him but after adding blue food coloring and other disgusting ingredients and trying to cook one, we decided maybe it was not fit for consumption. So we took the batter and snuck out the kitchen door and dumped it behind a plant in the yard. I don't recall that our mishap was ever discovered and of course we never fessed up. I was planning on a trip this spring to visit and so am heart broken that I waited too long. In memorial, Pam's aunt and uncle, Leonard and Judi Hanson, and I are sending a California Lilac plant for the yard that will attract hummingbirds and butterflies which I believe she loved. The Lord bless and help you through this difficult time. Love, Melody
