Patricia Karen Erkenbeck's Obituary
Our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend Patricia Karen Erkenbeck was the second daughter born to Ida and Edwin Severson on April 18, 1940 in Clearbrook, MN. She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She grew up in Willamina where she went on to graduate high school, and then moved to St. Helens where she became a homemaker raising her four children. She enjoyed her career as a Travel Agent for 25 years.
Her greatest loves were family and friends. Her hobbies included spending time with her grandchildren and friends, crafting, gardening, reading, beachcombing, and camp hosting.
Patricia is survived by her husband Jerry Erkenbeck, son Rick Anderson, daughters Wendy Buerke (Terry), and Cheryl Stein (Jeff), two step daughters Tammy Ellis (Bill), Teri Gonce (Peter), step-son Troy Erkenbeck, and 3 nephews, 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sister Eloise Nugen, and son Tim Anderson.
Pat had a special place in her heart for children. Donations may be made to Randall’s Childrens Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held in Patricia’s honor Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 1:00 PM, at Sunset Park Community Church in St. Helens, Oregon. Please sign our online guestbook at www.columbiafh.com
