Patricia Sue Finch
March 4, 1946 – March 2, 2015
Patricia Finch of Scappoose, Oregon passed on March 2, 2015 at the age of 68. She was born March 4, 1946 to William and Berva (Kirby) McNew in Big Spring, Texas.
Patricia grew up and attended school in Big Spring and in 1964 she married John Finch. John was in the service, so he and Patricia were stationed in many different places, they lived in various places in Texas, Tucson, Arizona and Cheyenne, Wyoming before moving to Safety Harbor, Florida after John’s retirement.
In 2009 after John’s death Patricia moved to Scappoose, Oregon. As a child she attended the Salvation Army Church and later attended the Baptist Church with her family.
Patricia was very family oriented she raised her children and all of grandchildren except two, she loved gardening, being outside and was a volunteer at the humane society she loved animals.
She is survived by her children; Shawn Turner, Sherri Ray, Shandi Finch, John J. finch and Berva “Kirby” Finch, her siblings; Ann Thompson and Norman McNew, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her spouse John Finch.
