Patricia “Pat” Anne Cook February 15, 1925 ~ April 8, 2017
Patricia “Pat” Anne Cook passed away on April 8, 2017 in Gresham, Oregon.
Patricia was born on February 15, 1925 in Index, Washington to Charles and Gerturde Lambert. Pat was the middle of their three children. Pat was always soft spoken, kind, and would do anything for anyone. Pat spent her entire life in Columbia County, she graduated Scappoose High School in 1943. She worked at the Pickle Plant in Scappoose for a short time.
On October 13, 1949, she married the love of her life, Murvyn Cook, in Vancouver, Washington. Together they had two children, Donald and Luanne. Pat had devoted her life to her faith, she was a long-time member of Grace Lutheran in Scappoose. She was an active quilter, and was a part of the church’s quilting group “Tie Quilt.” She also enjoyed gardening, but most of all she loved and adored her grandchildren.
Pat is preceded in death by her father Charlie Lambert, her mother Gertrude Shimanek, her eldest brother Wallace, and her younger sister Wanda.
Pat is survived by her son Donald (Ann) Cook, her daughter Luanne (Mark) Cook-Cole, her grandchildren Mariah, Molly, Caleb, and her great grandchildren, Claire, Blake, Lily and Cece.
A Funeral Service will be held at Columbia Funeral Home 681 Columbia Blvd. St. Helens, Oregon on Saturday April 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM with a reception to follow.
