Paul A. Turner's Obituary
Paul A. Turner was born on October 16, 1922 Amherst, MN. to John C. & Bertha Winch Turner.
He died at a Scappoose care center on Juuly 14, 2009 at the age of 86.
He was educated in Canton, Minnesota, was in the Army from 1943-1946 during WWII, serving in New Guinea, the Phillipines and Army of occupation in Japan. He moved to Scappose after the war in 1946 from Rochester, MN. until present.
He worked for Boise Paper Co. in St. Helens for 33 years, retiring on March 1, 1980.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW.
Survivors include: Son: Paul B. Turner of Scappoose; 1 granddaughter: Chelsy Hickey.
Funeral service: Monday, July 20, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Columbia Funeral Home-St. Helens.
Committal service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
