Obituary of Paul Louis Borchers
Paul passed away at home in Columbia City, November 16th. He was 73.
He was born November 20, 1937 in Portland, Oregon to Paul August and Willamina Rose Brasey Borchers, the oldest of four children. He attended Walnut Grove Elementary and graduated from Ft. Vancouver High School in 1955, and then he served in the United States Army. After the Service Boiler-Blacksmith Union as a wielder / iron worker and traveled and worked across the United States. He always called the Vancouver / Portland area home and retired there in 1999. Paul moved to Columbia City to be around family about five years ago. Paul enjoyed the outdoors by camping and fishing.
Paul is survived by 5 children, daughters, Sandy and Sue from Vancouver, WA, brother; Peter Bourchers, Niece; Lorna Goheen , two great nieces; Stacy Dailey, Katelyn Taylor, great nephew; Scott Taylor Jr., great great niece, Lillyann and great great nephew Scott Taylor III. Preceded in death by Kathleen Edinger, Marie Borchers .
