Pauline Atchison was born in Bisbee, Arizona on May 30, 1937, to her parents Mary Garcia and Paul Dominguez.
Her family moved to Oregon in 1939. She retired from VanNatta & Petersen, attorneys at law, after 45 years.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Atchison, four children, Robbin Boos (Steve), Ronald Schaumburg (Denita), Ryan Schaumburg (Jenn), and Rene’e Hafeman (Mike), 9 grandchildren, Jamie Black, Justin Schaumburg, Jessi Norton, Dakota Schaumburg, Austin Schaumburg, Carlie Kuban, Michael Robert Hafeman, Colton Hafeman, Taylor Boos, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pauline is pre-deceased by 5 siblings, William, Jimmy, and Joe Clemo, Maria Polzin, and Carl Fisher, and is survived by Frank Mapula and Henry Clemo.
Pauline married her love, Steve Atchison, on October 22, 1983, in St. Helens, Oregon.
She was known for her faith and devotion to Jesus, her undying love for her husband and children, her commitment to friends and community, spending countless hours volunteering in churches, Toy & Joy, and delivering food to people in need. Pauline’s joy for life, her laughter, and beautiful smile will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Warren Community Fellowship Church in Warren, Oregon. Crypt internment at Columbia Memorial Gardens.
