Pauline L. Haddock's Obituary
Pauline L. Haddock 79 years old went to heaven November 9,2019, at Columbia Care Center surrounded by family. She was born August 16,1940 to Ralph and Philo (Ergo) Curtis in Clarkston, Washington. She married William (Bill) Haddock August 25,1962. They traveled around before settling in Lebanon, Oregon, owning Laurel Court Motel and gas station. In 1977 they sold it and moved to Scappoose, Oregon buying Mountain View Motel and Far West Wrecking. In 1981 Bill came down with Parkinson’s Disease, they sold everything. Pauline went to work for OS Systems, making diving suites. In 1988 Bill wanting to be closer to home they moved to Arkansas. Pauline worked at Belden, testing and inspecting electric cords. In 2015 Pauline moved back to Scappoose, Oregon, to be closer to family.
She loved to keep her hands busy, painting ceramics, doing crochet, word seek. She loved to laugh and tease people. She loved her cats.
Pauline is survived by daughters Jan (Greg) Engen, Ruthie Curtiss, and son Ron (Sveta) Haddock. Grand children Jon, Tammie, Michelle and Becky. Many great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. Three sisters Jean (John) Hunt, Phyllis Mahurin, and Mary Ann (Marvin) Wheeler.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers George and Phillip, husband Bill (38 years), three granddaughters Anna and Chloe Haddock and Stephanie Young.
