Obituary of Peggy Lee Fretz
Beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend
Peggy passed away at her home surrounded by her family, October 16th in Vernonia. She was 60 years old.
Peggy was born July 17, 1950 in Soap Lake, Washington to Archibald William and June Mable McCall Brumley. She was the 2nd youngest of 6 children. Peggy grew up in the Seattle, Washington area. She worked in the electronics industry for Techtronic's, Intel, and Motorola. Peggy lived in Gilbert, Arizona for 23 years before moving to Beaverton for 2 years and then to Vernonia to be close to her family after her illness.
Peggy enjoyed the outdoors, photography, camping, swimming and spur of the moment "Road Trips". An avid bowler, she bowled a perfect 300 in a sanctioned game, the 1st woman to do this at Chandler Lanes in Chandler, Arizona. She also enjoyed trips to the casino's playing slots, Bingo and "Let It Ride".
She is survived by her children; Shana King of Vernonia, Melody Lintelman of Delta Junction, Alaska, Bert E. Martin II and Shiree Readette of Vernonia. Grandchildren; Sonja, Matthew, Zachary, Logan, Hunter, Dylan, Peyton and Katelyn, sisters; Carol Moore of Spanaway, Washington, Jean Sullivan of Burien, Washington and brother William Brumley of Kingman, Arizona.
A Private family gathering will be held at a later date.
