Raymond Boyd Alden's Obituary
God needed another handman and called upon Raymond "Ray" Boyd Alden to join his team. Ray was born in Stuart, Iowa, on October 8, 1938, and passed on October 6, 2023, at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, after a fall at home.
Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, and mechanical work. He was a welder and a pipefitter for his working life, and retired, in 2022, from Boise Cascade Tissue.
Ray leaves behind his wife, Linda Alden; two sons, Bryant Alden (in Florida) and William Alden (in Oregon); and one daughter, Wanda Turner. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chester and Blanche Cox (from Monroe, Oregon); his mother, Viola Cox (from Monroe, Oregon); his brother, Melvin Alden (from California); and a son, Wendell Scott Alden. He was a proud grandfather to 6 and a great-grandfather of 10.
Per Ray's wishes, the family will not be scheduling any services.
