Rebecca Nichole Marks 1974-2011
Rebecca Nichole Marks, better known to us as Becky, or Aunt Becky, passed from this earth on Thursday, July 28, 2011.
Becky was born November 25th, 1974, in Livermore, California, and spent her younger years in St. Helens, Oregon, where she graduated from High School in 1992. She spent time at Rick's College, University of Utah, and received a Paralegal certification from Boise State.
She has been employed by URS in Boise, Idaho, for the past 10 years.
Becky will always be remembered for her deep devotion to her family, her beautiful smile, her strong will, and her attractive, loving spirit. She was a beloved daughter, a dearly loved sister, a loyal friend, and a favorite Aunt. She enjoyed being with family and friends and would give her last dime to help either.
She loved to dote on her nieces and nephews, and her two cats.
Becky is survived by her parents, Johnnie and Marsha Marks, her sister Melissa Carr Brad, brothers Brian Jody, Danny , and Josh Jamie, and her nieces and nephews: Sam, Jacob, and Elizabeth Carr; Calvin, Lana, Susanna, Hazel, Griffin, Rylee, and Emma Marks.
She is preceded in death by her younger brother Ben Marks.
All who know and love Becky or her family are welcome to attend a service at 10:00am on Tuesday, August 2nd, at Summers Funeral Chapel, located at 3629 E. Ustick Road in Meridian, Idaho. Graveside Services on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Columbia Memorial Gardens Cemetery-Scappoose, OR.
Only God knows the answers to why a life gets cut short, but we trust that Becky has entered into His rest that she so desperately sought. Words cannot describe the depth and breadth of our love for Becky and the hole that is left in our hearts.
