Renee, a beautiful lady, wonderful wife and best friend passed away February 1, 2010 at her home in Scappoose after an extended battle with breast cancer, she was 53. She was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother, wonderful daughter and kind aunt. Her warm caring spirit and smile touched all whom she met.
Born December 31, 1956 in Arcadia, California to Robert & Wanda Walker Broderick, she was the youngest of 4 children. The family moved to the Scappoose area when Renee was quite young and she graduated from Scappoose High School in 1975.
Renee is remembered most for her beautiful smile and shinning personality as a waitress at a little restaurant known as "Spank's" and for her 13 years as a grocery clerk at the P&G Thriftway. Renee also had a job at the Scappoose Pole Yard in high school. There she met Larry, and they married June 28, 1975 in Scappoose.
Besides being a devoted wife, her greatest joy was her family. There wasn't anything that compared to being a mother and grandmother.
