Richard grew up in Oregon, graduating from Benson High School before serving honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Richard was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and passion for life. He took great pride in his work and instilled valuable life lessons in his grandchildren. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he had a deep love for the outdoors. Fishing, traveling, camping, and gardening brought him joy, and he shared these passions with his family. He was also an active member of his church, finding purpose and fellowship in his faith community.
