Richard D. Wright's Obituary
Richard D. Wright was born on October 27, 1928 in Portland, Oregon to Albert & Ruby Lee Wright.
He died at his home in Scappoose, OR. on November 26, 2008 at the age of 80.
He attended Portland public schools and graduated from Franklin Hi in 1946.
He lived and worked in Portland until moving to Scappoose in 1989 until present. He worked as a carpenter in construction for 30 years and retired in 1994. Member of the Portland Carpenters Union.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and every year he bought a new pickup, camper and boat.
Survivors include: Wife: Irene Wright; Daughter: Nancy Terry both of Scappoose; Son: Larry Wright of Skamokawa, WA.; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren.
