Richard Earl Wade's Obituary
Richard E. Wade was born on May 31, 1939 in Portland, OR. to Jack R. & Marion J. Muir Wade.
He died on March 27, 2006 in Deer Island, Oregon at the age of 66.
Richard lived in the Portland area all of his life. He was a state championship basketball player for Roosevelt High School, graduating in 1957.
He worked in maintenance for the City of Portland, retiring in 1992.
Richard and Donna were married in 1992 in Portland, Oregon after being together since 1968.
His interests were fishing, his family and grandkids, traveling, bird & whale watching, gardening, card & board games.
Richard had a great sense of humor and he will be remembered by all of his fishing buddies.
Survivors include: Wife: Donna; Daughter: Sueann Clarity; Sons: Jim, Bob & Dick Beardsley, all of Beaverton, OR.; Sam Beardsley of Banks, OR.; Russ Beardsley of Caldwell, Idaho; Brother: Ray Wade of Milwaukie, OR.; Sister: Barbara Goode of Gresham, OR.; 16 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life: Sunday, April 2, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Elsie Stuhr Adult Center in Beaverton, OR.
