Richard J. Wilson April 15, 1962 ~ December 5, 2016
Richard J. Wilson 54, was born April 15, 1962, to Leonard and Elsie (Sundquist) Wilson in Bismarck, North Dakota. He passed away December 5, 2016 in Deer Island, Oregon. Richard considered Zap, North Dakota his main home, but Mom’s home was in Oregon.
He graduated from St. Helens Senior High in 1980. Richard worked several places over the years, his last job was at Coteau Properties in Beulah, North Dakota. His hobbies included Gold Panning, fishing, target shooting, old cars, and 4 wheelers.
Richard is survived by; his mother, Elsie Wilson Deer Island, Oregon, Sisters, Sherry Paladeni Tillamook, Oregon, Julie (Steve) Decious St. Helens, Oregon, Brother Dale (Carla Morast) Wilson Zap, North Dakota, Nephew Jeremy (Christal) Wilson, Nieces Brianna and Rochelle Decious, along with several Great Nieces and Nephews whom he loved very much! He also had many special friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, Leonard Wilson and Brother-in-Law, Norm Paladeni.
The viewing will be Friday, December 16, 2016 from 3-5 PM and Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 10 AM to Noon at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, Oregon.
Richard’s Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 1:00 PM, at Columbia Funeral Home in St. Helens, Oregon. There will also be a Memorial Service held in North Dakota at a later date.
There will be a reception, following the Memorial Service, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
