Robert D. Swartz's Obituary
Robert D. Swartz was born on April 26, 1938 in Gladbrook, Iowa to William & Ellen Parsons Swartz.
He died at a Portland hospital on April 1, 2004 at the age of 65.
He was educated in Iowa and went on to receive an associates degree in agriculture. He was in the Navy during WWII and for a total of 6 years, being discharged as a Lietenant.
He married Wanthana in Thailand on 12/31/69 they lived there until moving to Warren in 1976.
He worked for Coastal as a plant operator from 86-02 when he retired.
He was a Christian but did not belong to a church. His enjoyment was fishing.
Survivors include: Wife; Wanthana Swartz of Deer Island, OR.; Son: Mike Swartz of St. Helens; 3 brothers: Paul & Steve Swartz of Marshalltown, Iowa and Jim Swartz of Waterloo, Iowa; 3 grandchildren.
