Robert Earl McKinney's Obituary
Robert "Bob" Earl McKinney died of a heart attack on May 7, 2012 in Portland. He was 52 years old.
Bob was born March 4, 1960 in Portland to John Earl and Starlita Maxine Lind McKinney. Raised in St. Helens he graduated class of 1978. He lived his whole life in St. Helens and loved the community and the people who lived here.
Bob worked several jobs until he finally found his niche, landscaping, owning and operating his lawn maintenance business for the last 10 years of his life.
He was also a cancer survivor.
Bob loved the outdoors; hunting, fishing, hiking, boating, and riding his ATV's. He dearly loved his family and his family loved him in return.
Bob is survived by his mother; Starlita Peasley, brother; Tom McKinney, children; Shawn McKinney, Krista Foote-Burdette, Holly Endres, nephews; Christopher, Michael and Jonathan McKinney, grandchildren; Jayden, Ariana, Kadence, Fern and Eli.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the family's home on Friday, May 25th at 2pm. Bring your favorite potluck dish if you wish, Bob would want you to smile, enjoy yourself and stay awhile.
