Robert Nelson Endicott's Obituary
Robert Nelson "Bob" Endicott was born on June 19, 1931 in Portland, Oregon to Ralph John & Ruth Naomi Nelson Endicott.
He died at a Portland hospital on April 30, 2010 at the age of 78.
Robert received his grade school education in Portland and moved to Rainier at the age of 14 later to graduate from Rainier High School in 1949. After high school he joined the Navy CB's. He was in from 12/6/50 to 9/20/54 as a hardhat diver recovering downed airliners.
He married Marion Mariani on September 11, 1955 in Rainier, Oregon. They later moved to Scappoose in 1960 until present.
Robert started as a plumber in 1955, went on to own Crystal Plumbing and Heating in Scappoose, retiring in 1989.
He was a member of the Local Pipefitters Union #290 and the St. Helens Elks Lodge. He enjoyed gardening, tinkering/building, cribbage and crossword puzzles known as the expert at Icabods Restaurant.
Survivors include: Wife: Marion Endicott of Scappoose; Daughter: Crystal Ridenour of St. Helens; Son: Robin Endicott of Scappoose; 2 grandchildren.
Graveside service & vault interment: Columbia Memorial Gardens-Scappoose; Friday, May 7, 2010 at 1:00 PM.
Celebration of Life: Grace Baptist Church-Warren at 3:00 PM
