Robert N. Israel was born on December 31, 1943 in Oakland, CA. to Robert D. & Melita Luke Israel.
He died on July 27, 2004 in Longview, WA. at the age of 60.
He was educated in Watsonville, CA., Oakland, CA. Baton Rouge, LA. and earned a B.A. Degree in the S.F. Bay area.
Early on he was in the ROTC, 1/4 master for the sea scouts in Oakland. Most recently he enjoyed skiing, photography and traveling the world.
He has lived in the St. Helens area for 30 years, managing the McCormick Hotel for 20 years.
Survivors include: Mother: Melita Israel of Aptos, CA.; Siblings: Judith Hoelscher of Santa Cruz, CA.; Michael Israel of Soquel, CA.; 1 niece.
Memorial service: Sunday 8/1/04 at 3:00 PM at the McCormick Hotel-St. Helens, OR.
