Robert Jay Schwartz's Obituary
Robert Jay Schwartz of Warren, Oregon died on June 4, 2015 at the age of 59. Robert was born September 18, 1955 in Portland, Oregon to Robert and Patricia (Hass) Schwartz.
Bob was a lifelong resident of Oregon except for 3 years that he lived in South Carolina. He graduated from Canby High School and later attended Portland Community College and Linfield College. He served in the US Army stationed in Berlin from 1972-1974.
Bob worked for Freightliner Trucks (Daimler Trucks North America) for over 39 years in their corporate office, most recently as IT Analyst. In 2009 he married Joanne Fox. He enjoyed golf, travel, photography, hiking, antiques, wood working, and restoring classic cars. He was a Ford fanatic, Oregon Duck, and SF 49ers football fan, and he also made stained glass art.
Bob is survived by his brothers Michael and Tim Schwartz and sisters Terri Bosvert and Tamme Sams, along with his wife Joanne Fox and his pixie bob Sparky.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
